To Spain the 12. of February 1937; enrolled in the 17. Division (5. of July 1937 to 35. Division), XI. International Brigade, 3. Battalion ”Ernst Thälmann” as driver by the ammunition transport; - (see Harry A.) - 2. Battalion ”Hans Beimler”, 2. Company ”Martin Andersen-Nexø”, took part in the battles by Ebro as infantryman; home in November 1938.

War in der 11. Brigade und war Chauffeur beim Munitionstransport der 11 Brigade. Kam im Februar 1937 zur Brigade, war ein sehr guter und zuverlässiger Chauffeur und auch tapfer während den Kampfhandlungen. Politisch war er nicht organisiert, war politisch primitiv, interessierte sich nicht besonders für politische Arbeit, aber sonst ein pflichtbewusster Antifaschist.

born the 18. of April.1913 in Thisted; dead 25 Year old; last address Langhøjvej 4, 2500 Valby (Copenhagen); son to turner E. E. Annfeldt.

Member of the Communist Party of Denmark (DKP). In the Winter 1935/36 he went to Esbjerg Workers high school and Roskilde folk high school in the fall 1936.

He went to Spain the 1. August 1937 (his two brothers went to Spain too: Eggert in June 1937, fallen by Quinto the 24. of August 1937 and Ingvar in January 1937).
Enrolled in the 35. Division, XI. International Brigade (3. Battalion ”Ernst Thälmann”), attached to the Auto Park as ambulance driver. When the Spanish Government decided to build up the Ebro-Army they also went to the Hospitals and prisons to get soldiers to the army.
When they came to “Castelldefels” Harry decided to sign up for the Army and was enrolled in the 2. Battalion “Hans Beimler 2. Company “Martin Andersen- Nexø”.
Took part in the battles as infantryman.
The 23 of September 1938 killed by a shell splinter by Corbera/Gandesa, probably buried here.
